The Economic and Social Council (CES) published a statement on Friday confirming their latest personnel changes.

The council elects a new leadership every two years, alternating between a trade union member and a representative of the Duchy’s employers in the top role.

Steve Heiliger, who previously served as the general secretary for the civil service union (CGFP), will take over the position, replacing Jean-Jacques Rommes of the Luxembourg Employers’ Association (UEL).
