A speed limit of 70km/h has been introduced in the Grouft tunnel on the A7 in both directions on Thursday evening, after issues were discovered during maintenance, according to the Roads and Bridges Authority.
Issues with the water supply were detected during the maintenance work in the tunnel. The speed limit was reduced from 90km/h to 70km/h as a safety measure.
