Emergency crews from Luxembourg’s Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) were deployed to five separate accidents across the country on Wednesday, resulting in multiple injuries.

The series of incidents began at approximately 11am when an accident involving an electric scooter occurred on the CR335 between Rossmühle and Maulusmühle. Paramedics from Troisvierges and firefighters from Weiswampach provided assistance to one injured individual.

At 1.53pm, emergency services responded to an overturned vehicle on the CR322 between Consthum and Kautenbach. The Wiltz paramedic unit and Hosingen firefighters attended the scene where one person sustained injuries.

Simultaneously, emergency teams were despatched to Boulevard Charles de Gaulle in Esch-sur-Alzette after a vehicle struck a pedestrian. Sanem-Differdange paramedics and Mondercange firefighters provided medical attention at the scene.

Later in the afternoon at approximately 4.15pm, two individuals were injured when a vehicle collided with a wall on Rue du Pont in Wiltz. Local emergency services from Wiltz responded to the incident.

The final reported accident occurred around 4.30pm when a cyclist crashed on the RN10 between Grundhof and Dillingen, prompting response teams from Echternach and Berdorf to provide assistance.
