Heavy rain and windSeveral roads blocked by trees on Thursday morning

It was almost to be expected: after several days of heavy rain and wind, trees across the country gave in and ended up blocking roads. On Thursday morning, the Luxembourg Motoring Association (ACL) reported incidents at the following locations:

• CR175A in the Hahneboesch industrial zone in Niederkorn
• CR106B between Hobscheid and Kreuzerbuch
• A7 sliproad near Waldhof (N11), direction Kirchberg
• N11 between Laurborn and Echternach
• CR122 between Blaschette et Imbringen
• CR132 between Bech and Méchelshaff
• CR343 between Näidsen and Draufelt
