Three people were injured in traffic collisions over the past 24 hours.

Shortly before 4.30pm on Monday, two cars collided on the N11 between Dommeldange and Waldhaff, leaving one person with injuries. Fire fighters had to extricate a person from the wreckage of one of the cars. Four people were taken to hospital for a check up.
A dog escaped from one of the vehicles, but was recovered by an officer on site. The N11 was closed during rescue operations, causing traffic jams to build up around the “Brennerei” which marks the intersection between the N11 and the CR119.

Elsewhere, a car came off the road between Itzig and Contern on Sunday evening, leaving two people injured.

Two ambulances and the Luxembourg City emergency team attended the incident which took place on the CR226 at around 5.40pm

Finally, a chimney caught fire in Cruchten at around 8.05am on Monday morning. Fire fighters from Bissen, Nommern, and the Nordstad attended the scene. No injuries were reported.
