According to snow scientist (yep, that exists) Jordie Hendrikx, there are several snow types with varying moisture levels. The amount of water will impact the quality of the snow.
“Years of experimentation and research with my kids reveal a snow-to-water equivalence of about 5:1 yields the snow ideal for building the perfect snowman,” says Hendrikx.
Whether that’s the case today? No idea.
The weather will be mostly dry with very cloudy to overcast skies. Roads may be slippery due to the formation of ice patches. Temperatures will remain at 0 to 4°C throughout the day.
