On Friday, Statec said they expected the salary indexation to take place in December 2019.
The reason is the fall in inflation forecasts for Luxembourg, which has meant that the half-yearly average of prices has not exceeded the threshold for the next indexation tranche.
Indexation should now be triggered in December which means salaries will be revised upwards from January.
