Luxembourg CityRue de Merl partially closed off from Sunday to Monday morning due to roadworks

The road will be closed off from the Merl roundabout to rue Charles Michel included. The access road between rue Bouillon and the roundabout will also be closed off.

The construction work starts at 6.30 am on Sunday morning and is expected to be completed by 4.30 am on early Monday morning.

Regarding public transport, the works entail the following changes:

  • Line 10: the bus stops Marcel Cahen Quai 1 and Marcel Cahen Quai 2 will be replaced by temporary stops in boulevard Marcel Cahen, near the buildings Nr 29 and 62.
  • Line 12: the bus stops Marcel Cahen Quai 1 and Marcel Cahen Quai 2 as well as Conservatoire Quai 1 and Conservatoire Quai 2 will be replaced by temporary stops in boulevard Marcel Cahen, near the buildings Nr 29 and 62 as well as in rue Marguerite de Brabant, on the corner of rue Charles Martel, respectively.
  • Line 15: rides with terminus P+R Bouillon (between around 9 am and 8.30 pm) in both directions will take a direct route between P+R Bouillon and Salzhaff / Schluechthaus without stopping at Conservatoire or Athénée. Passengers are asked to alternatively take line 12, which has been temporarily diverted to stop at Athénée and Conservatoire

Morning and evening rides stopping at Marcel Cahen, Barrière, St Gengoul, and Celtes will be diverted between P+R Bouillon and Merl to boulevard Pierre Dupong and boulevard Marcel Cahen. Delays are to be expected.
