Pit Everling
Since April, there have been increased problems with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) among infants in Luxembourg.

Because of this virus, the emergency cases at the paediatric clinic have been overcrowded lately. The numbers have risen to 240 patients per day. In April alone, there was an increase of 120%.

Beds at the day hospital have also had to be used.

The information was provided by the Minister of Health, Paulette Lenert, in response to a parliamentary question by CSV deputies Georges Mischo and Marc Spautz.
