After the public prosecutor's office announced it would be investigating the Differdange municipal council and the Initiative and Local Gestion Centre (CIGL) following the accusation that Roberto Traversini, then mayor of Differdange, had a conflict of interest in pursuing a building permission on a protected reserve.
The public prosecutor's office announced that it had held investigations in the Ministry of the Environment in Kirchberg on Wednesday. Officials have seized documents.
