Initial reports suggested the fire’s origin on the first floor, but it was later determined to have broken out in the building’s basement. According to a spokesperson for the fire brigade, it had been assumed that the fire was somewhere else because of the smoke development.
The fire brigade arrived at the scene and swiftly extinguished the electrical fire.
