
Recent mild temperatures are set to end next week, dropping to around 0°C on Wednesday and Thursday.
Météolux has warned of rain showers mixed with snow in midweek, followed by real snowfall on Thursday morning. These forecasts could obviously change during the week but they have now been announcing the return of snow for three days.
It will therefore be necessary to be vigilant on the potentially slippy roads, especially since half term has ended and the roads will logically be busier.
Prior to the cold snap, another yellow alert has been issued for high winds of up to 80km/h on Sunday. Advice is the same as for previous alerts: clear outdoor areas and avoid activities which could be disrupted by the wind.
