On Monday, the Luxembourg warning and information system LU-Alert will be tested once again. Sirens will be activated throughout Luxembourg and residents of Leudelange, Reckange-sur-Mess, Mondercange, Schifflange, and Esch-sur-Alzette will furthermore receive an SMS from LU-Alert.
In contrast to previous tests, the SMS will be sent by the Grand Ducal Police. The message will also be available on the LU-Alert app and on its website www.lu-alert.lu.
Finally, the Ministry of Home Affairs has stated in a press release that there is no need to react to the test.
