A first suspect was flagged at around 9am on Sunday, when police officers witnessed a drug deal on Avenue de la Liberté. The buyer was traced immediately and five pellets of cocaine were confiscated from him.
Shortly afterwards, the suspected drug dealer was also found. He was placed under arrest on the orders of the public prosecutor.
Another police patrol was dispatched to the Gare district on Sunday evening, after a drug sale had been reported on rue de Strasbourg. Officers arrested the customer immediately after the sale, who was in possession of cocaine.
Here, too, the suspected dealer was arrested soon thereafter. He was carrying no fewer than 118 cocaine pellets, as well as cash and a mobile phone. All items relating to the crime were confiscated on the orders of the public prosecutor.
