
According to the respective police report, the woman was on the way to the station when she was threatened by an unknown man, who proceeded to attack her with a knife. He later declared intentions to take his own life. The victim had to be hospitalised as a consequence of the assault.
Police have now launched an appeal for witnesses in relation to the attack. Authorities have noted that two women were allegedly near the scene of the crime shortly after it happened and are believed to have seen the attacker.
