Thunderstorms are expected to affect large parts of the Grand Duchy between 8pm on Thursday and 9am on Friday, bringing a risk of heavy rainfall, hail, and highly localised, intense winds. According to a Meteolux statement, rainfall totals could reach 15 to 25 litres per square metre in a short period.
Storms may also produce hail and intense wind.
The forecast covers the entire country, although the statement does not specify which locations are most likely to experience the strongest conditions.
