On Sunday morning, a break-in occurred at a shop on the Grand-Rue in Ettelbrück. Two suspects succeeded in stealing a cash register with coins, which they dumped not far from the premises. This was discovered during a search and later returned to the shop owner.

In Dalheim, two would-be intruders were disturbed by a resident while trying to break into a property through the kitchen window. The perpetrators immediately fled the scene.

Drunk driving

On the night leading into Sunday, a damaged car was reported on the Grand-Rue in Wasserbillig, which had previously hit a tree. The driver tested positive for alcohol and had her driving license confiscated.

Overnight from Sunday to Monday, a police patrol in Putscheid noticed a car which had stopped in the middle of the road, before continuing to weave slowly across the street. They pulled the car over and tested the driver, who was found to be intoxicated. Officers issued a provisional driving ban.
