Road safetyPolice remind drivers to turn on headlights manually in fog and rain

RTL Today
Luxembourg's police are ringing the alarm bells on Facebook and Twitter: many drivers rely on their cars to automatically turn on the lights in heavy fog and rain - a significant security risk in case technology fails.

As the Grand Ducal police explained on social media, many users use the automatic lights option when driving in rain or fog.

However, some cars may not turn the lights on automatically if it is still light outside, which represents a significant safety risk both for you and for other road users.

Police therefore call on drivers to turn the lights on manually in case of fog, rain and snow.

Always double check - it's better to be safe than sorry.
