The Luxembourg Public Prosecutor’s Office also confirmed the police operation, emphasising that it was part of a European, not national, investigation.
Specifically, it was a “Décision d’enquête européenne,” a decision validated by a legal authority from another EU member state. The goal was to gather evidence related to potential legal violations in another EU country.
