The incident took place at the crossing between Avenue de la Porte Neuve and Boulevard de la Foire. One of the victims had to be treated at a hospital following the assault.
The attackers were supposedly between the age of 16 and 18. The police further notes that they were all dressed in similar fashion, wearing hoodies, vests, and carrying balloons. Apparently, the group already drew attention for negative activities throughout the day.
