One of the alleged culprits fled towards the nearby motorway after causing material damage. Witnesses with information on the incident are being asked to contact the Dudelange police department, either via telephone (+352 244 69 1000), or via email (Police.DUDELANGE@police.etat.lu).
The police further communicated that around half-past nine on Monday morning, a suspicious man was seen trying to open several car doors in Rue "Bei de Buchen" in Warken. One of his attempts was apparently successful and he searched the inside of a car. The police arrived in time to detain and fine the man, who already has an entry ban for Luxembourg. The respective authorities have been informed.
