On Tuesday afternoon, two unidentified suspects robbed a woman’s home on rue Michel Rasquin in Schifflange. The perpetrators managed to gain access to the building by pretending to collect donations for a humanitarian organisation. One perpetrator distracted the victim by asking for a glass of water, while the other took the victim’s wallet and fled the scene.
In Mondorf-les-Bains, police report that a break-in occurred on rue Dr August Schumacher at around 1.30am on 27 September. According to preliminary information, the perpetrators entered the house through the garage and searched a car inside. They were interrupted by a building resident before making their escape.
In both cases, police have opened an investigation.
