RTL Today
Police in Rumelange confiscated driving licenses in two separate incidents involving inebriated motorists late Sunday night and early Monday.

At around 10.25pm on Sunday, a police patrol checked a motorist in a car park in Rumelange because he appeared to be intoxicated. Since the test was positive, his driving licence was confiscated and his car immobilised.

Around 2.40am on Monday, the police noticed another suspicious motorist on Route d’Esch in Rumelange, this time someone had fallen asleep behind the wheel. There were clear indications of high alcohol consumption, however, the man refused all kinds of alcohol tests, whereupon he had to hand in his driving licence. Due to his heavily intoxicated state and aggressive behaviour, he was taken to the drunk tank.
