
In the east and centre of the country, the police launched a coordinated check of traffic rules, focusing on areas surrounding schools and kindergartens. They were active in Remich, Stadtbredimus, Conter, Grevenmacher, Mersch, Lorentzweiler, Steinsel, and Burglinster.
Officers sought to watch over basic traffic rules to assess whether people respected safety measures.
Out of the 14 infringements that were recorded, three were related to speeding, four related to incorrect or illegal parking, and two to seat belts. In each case, people had to pay a €49 fine.
