The police arrested a man on Thursday after receiving reports that he had swallowed “lumps” of drugs in the vicinity of the central railway station. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that the suspect appeared to be hiding something in his mouth, which he promptly swallowed.
The public prosecutor’s office was informed and immediately ordered an X-ray examination, which revealed that the man in question had swallowed about 30 lumps of drugs. After consultation with the public prosecutor, the police arrested him. He will be presented to an examining magistrate on Friday morning.
