The petition gathered more than 7,300 signatures, significantly passing the 4,500 threshold required for public debate.
The petitioners argued in favour of halting the development of 5G in the Grand Duchy, citing the need to protect the population and future generations from untested new technology. In doing so, they joined a global movement against the rollout of 5G.
The Chamber debate will be streamed from 2pm on RTL.lu.
