According to police reports, two people were confronted by three individuals in Luxembourg City’s old town, where the encounter quickly escalated to threats and violence. One victim was threatened with a knife, while the other was physically assaulted. After taking what they wanted, the perpetrators fled toward Place du Théâtre. Despite a police search operation, the assailants were not located, and an investigation is now underway.
Earlier on Sunday, two men in Bettembourg had their phones stolen while waiting for a bus. According to the victims, a man and a woman snatched their phones and fled. Police conducted a search for the suspects but were again unsuccessful in locating the individuals responsible.
