Minister of Health Paulette Lenert confirmed this in her reply to an urgent parliamentary question by MP Paul Galles from the Christian Social People's Party (CSV). Lenert specified that people living on the streets who are not struggling from any pre-existing health conditions, are not at a higher risk from a Covid-19 infection than people who do not live in situations considered "precarious".
The Ministry of Health recently urged non-profit associations working in the field to report people who are eligible to receive a Covid-19 vaccine in phase two, i.e. highly vulnerable people and those over 75 years of age, but not registered with the National Health Fund (CNS). The Ministry also encourages the non-profits to accompany these people to the vaccination centres.
