The Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to several calls on Tuesday evening, including two fires and two road accidents that each left one person injured.

Around 5.45pm, a motorist struck a pedestrian on Rue J-P Michels in Esch-sur-Alzette. One person was injured.

At 8.20pm, a motorcyclist collided with a car. One person was left injured, according to emergency services.

There were also reports of two fires: one in Lellingen, where a chimney caught fire in a home on the Duerfstrooss, and one in Schifflange, where a washing machine was in flames.
