Emergency services responded to two separate accidents in Luxembourg on Saturday morning, including one incident reported via an automatic emergency call.

On Saturday morning, emergency services responded to two accident sites. One incident was reported through an automatic emergency call made from a mobile phone.

At around 10.24am, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) attended to an automatic emergency call regarding an accident on the A6 motorway heading toward Luxembourg City. Paramedics from Mamer and Kahler were despatched to the scene.

Shortly after, another incident occurred when a person was struck by a bus on Avenue Monterey in the Ville-Haute neighbourhood of the capital. Paramedics from Luxembourg City provided first aid.
