At around 2pm on Tuesday, the driver of a bus on Route d’Arlon in Bertrange asked a woman to leave a drink she had brought with her outside the bus, otherwise she would not be allowed to get on the bus.
Her reaction was, to put it mildly, vicious. The woman poured the drink on the bus driver before verbally and physically assaulting him.
A fight ensued between the two, and the woman refused to get off the bus. Even when the police arrived, they were unable to calm the woman down and she continued to attack the bus driver.
The case will be reported to the public prosecutor’s office. The bus was eventually able to resume its route.
