The Roads and Bridges Authority is undertaking work to renew the road surfaces on the A7 motorway, between the Lorentzweiler and Schoenfels interchanges. The A7 will be closed on this stretch in the direction of Ettelbrück, and between the exit ramp and the Lorentzweiler interchange ramp in the direction of the Grünewald junction, as well as on the motorway access ramp at the Lorentzweiler interchange from the N7 and towards Ettelbrück A7.
The A7 will be reduced to one lane between Gosseldange tunnel entrance and Lorentzweiler interchange in the direction of the Grünewald junction.
Traffic from the Grünewald junction towards Ettelbrück via the A7 will be diverted from Lorentzweiler interchange via the N7 (Mersch) to the Mierscherbierg interchange again on the A7.
Traffic coming from Ettelbrück towards Grünewald will be diverted from the Lorentzweiler junction via the roundabout back onto the A7.
In addition to the A7 roadworks, the Helfenterbruck interchange on the A6 will also be shut to allow roadworks to take place. The exit and access at Bertrange will be closed all weekend. Diversions are in place.
