According to Minister for Mobility and Public Works François Bausch, the answer is a resounding “yes.” Currently, the Grand Duchy boasts approximately 17,000 available spaces in its Park & Ride car parks.

But that’s not all: a slate of around a dozen Park & Ride projects is in various stages of development, spanning locations like Mesenich near Trier, Troisvierges, Mamer, Ettelbruck, and Frisange, among others.

Once these projects have been completed, the capacity of car parks will nearly double compared to 2018, reaching 26,000 spaces. In addition to the aforementioned locations, long-term plans include further expansions, such as a facility adjacent to the Dudelange motorway, the Bouillon car park in the capital, and one in Erpeldange-sur-Sûre.

These details were presented by Minister François Bausch in response to a parliamentary question submitted by MP Marc Goergen of the Pirate Party.
