The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported a room fire in Kayl at around 5.30pm on Wednesday evening. Firefighters from Dudelange, Kayl, Rumelange, and Esch-sur-Alzette responded to the scene, where the fire was contained to the room and only material damage was recorded.

Shortly before 9pm, firefighters from Rambrouch, Boulaide, Redange, Wiltz, and the Upper Sûre Lake municipality were called out to Bigonville, where bales of straw had caught fire. No injuries were reported in this incident.

According to the CGDIS, the only reported injury occurred shortly after 1am in Esch-sur-Alzette, where waste caught fire on Boulevard Aloyse Meyer. Local firefighters extinguished the blaze, and one person sustained injuries. Earlier that day, Esch rescue services had already intervened after an eCall was triggered by a car in Differdange, but no one was injured in that case.

Finally, Luxembourg City crews were dispatched to Gasperich at around 2.30am on Thursday after a car caught fire. The CGDIS confirmed that there were no injuries in this incident.
