The suspect was said to have threatened staff to hand over cash and cigarettes at gunpoint during the attack, which took place at a petrol station on Route de Longwy, Rodange, on Monday.
The individual then fled the scene in a stolen vehicle. No one was harmed during the incident.
A police search for the suspect yielded successful results, and the perpetrator was duly arrested by order of the public prosecutor’s office.
