
Luxair had announced the decision to no longer stay in charge of the centre back in August. Cargolux has since become one of three interested parties in the race to take over the centre and the 1,200 jobs that come with it.
The final decision in the matter of the tender offer will be taken by the Lux-Airport board.
The Independent Luxembourg Trade Union Confederation (OGBL) and the Luxembourg Confederation of Christian Trade Unions (LCGB) demand that the jobs of the affected employees be guaranteed.
