Long-standing premiumOGBL demands transparency from Ministry and TICE over pay cuts

RTL Today
The OGBL union is calling for clear and open discussions with the Ministry of Mobility and TICE management following the planned removal of a long-standing premium paid to public transport employees in the south of Luxembourg.

This premium, which has been in place for over 40 years, is set to be abolished, potentially resulting in a loss of around €500 per month for 110 TICE employees across various departments starting in November.

The financial impact extends beyond monthly wages, as the premium has also been factored into pension calculations. The union is urging both the Ministry and TICE to provide explanations and engage in transparent dialogue to address these concerns.
