Trade unions OGBL and LCGB on Thursday announced that a new collective labour agreement has been signed at Contern SA, formerly Chaux de Contern, which will be in place until 31 December 2025.

According to the Independent Confederation of Luxembourg Trade Unions (OGBL) and the Luxembourg Confederation of Christian Trade Unions (LCGB), the new collective contract affects around 150 employees.

The agreement covers the period from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2025 and stipulates the following changes:

  • A pay rise of €120 gross, spread over three years with equal tranches of €40 each, taking retroactive effect from 1 January 2023.
  • Additional pay of up to €120 gross per month based on the outcome of an assessment meeting, from 1 January 2024.
