Luxembourg police officers have had a busy 24 hours addressing various incidents reported by residents.

Early Friday morning, authorities were called to the central railway station in Luxembourg City following an assault on an individual. Multiple assailants attacked the victim, forcibly taking their mobile phone and money. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Later that same evening, another similar incident occurred near Place Clairefontaine, where an individual was assaulted by a group of perpetrators who also stole their mobile phone. The assailants swiftly fled the scene. Police have initiated investigations into both cases to apprehend the culprits.

In a separate incident on Friday afternoon, near the central railway station, a victim was stabbed in the leg with a knife. Prompt police intervention led to the apprehension and arrest of a suspect. Upon conducting a body search, officers discovered a knife and cannabis in the possession of the arrested individual.

On Friday evening, authorities responded to a report of a visibly intoxicated person causing a disturbance in a supermarket in Dudelange. The individual harassed both customers and staff before turning violent towards responding officers. The individual was detained in custody overnight.

Lastly, on Friday night, police identified a suspicious driver on the Bonnevoie bypass. Following a breathalyser test, the driver was required to surrender their driving licence to the officers.
