On Wednesday evening, a car hit a cyclist in Bech-Kleinmacher.
Initial reports suggest the driver was leaving a parking space and failed to spot the cyclist in time. The cyclist was knocked off their bike by the impact and sustained a number of grazes.
While the driver tested negative for alcohol consumption, a subsequent drugs test returned positive results.
Police initiated the required processes and launched an investigation into the accident.
