CFL will be carrying out important modernisation works on their infrastructure, which will block some railways in the last week of October. Routes 10, 50 and 60 are particularly affected. As usual, there will be rail replacement buses in operation.

THIS WEEKEND

No trains will run on lines 60 and 90 between Luxembourg and Bettembourg on 19 and 20 October. This will also be the case for the following weekend and until 17 November.

NORTH

In the north, no trains will run beyond Ettelbruck from Saturday 26 October to Sunday 3 November. There will be no trains to Diekirch or Troisvierges.

Rail replacement buses will circulate between Ettelbruck and Wiltz, Diekirch, Michelau, Goebelsmuhle, Kautenbach, Wilwerwiltz, Drauffelt, Clervaux and Troisvierges.

WEST

Those travelling to and from Belgium will encounter similar difficulties, as there will be no trains on line 50 between Luxembourg City and Arlon. The line will be closed on 1, 2 and 3 November.

There will be direct buses between the capital and Arlon, and others serving intermediary stops through Kleinbettingen and Arlon.

SOUTH

Finally, in the south of the country, trains on line 60 will terminate at Esch-sur-Alzette and will not serve stops between Esch-sur-Alzette and Rodange from 26 October to 3 November. Trains will also be paused between Esch-sur-Alzette and Audun-le-Tiche from 30 October to 3 November.

Buses will serve all stops between Esch-sur-Alzette and Rodange, as well as stops between Belval University and Audun-le-Tiche.
