A panel of experts has studied the CGDIS functions and is due to present a full report to the public soon.

The most recent meeting of the CGDIS board of directors was held on 13 February, during which the preliminary design of the new Remich intervention centre was presented.

This new structure will represent an investment of 15 million euros.

Another major centre will also be constructed in Dudelange, where the allocation of land in the Riedgen industrial zone has received approval.

In addition, 12 agreements have been validated concerning, among other things, transfers of furniture or rental contracts. 36 conventions have already been signed, 39 are still awaiting signature, an act which will be done after receipt of the count of municipalities.

Finally, another agreement with the Technical Lycée for Health Professions should allow certain students to be able to complete internships with first response teams.
