Luxembourg continues to focus on accessible tourism with the launch of a ‘comfort trail’ at the Echternach Lake, marking the country’s third inclusive trail, following installations in Remich and Bissen. Inaugurated on Monday, the 3-km-long trail caters to people with disabilities and families with young children, featuring 65 resting spots, wheelchair-friendly swings, and rentable motorised towing devices for wheelchair assistance.

Supported financially by the Tourism Ministry, this initiative aligns with Luxembourg’s ‘Tourism without Barriers’ campaign, which seeks to enhance inclusivity while upholding sustainability. The ministry has extended an invitation to other municipalities to join in promoting accessible leisure activities across the Grand Duchy.
