RoadworksNew construction phase in Gare district

RTL Today
The Büchler bridge linking the train station to Bonnevoie will become multimodal, accommodating the tram, cars and bicycles.

The transformation of the bridge has been in progress since January and is expected to last until 2021. One of the main axes around the station will become multimodal to allow for the tram, cars and bicycles alike.

A metal structure weighing 958 tons will be installed during the coming weeks, with work expected to mainly impact weekends.

The N3 road will also be subjected to construction work to redirect motorists to Howald, while Route de Thionville (the old N3) will be transformed into a quieter route for residents.

Worth noting: access to the route towards the Gluck roundabout and the A3 will be closed from 10pm on 6 October until 10pm on Sunday 13 October.
