As well as confirming plans for the intervention centre, the government council also approved the national plan for neurocardiovascular disease from 2023-2027 in Friday’s session. The plan aims to reduce the number of patients succumbing to the disease.
The council also green-lit the implementation of a European directive which seeks to introduce a system for targeted migration. It will permit qualified workers from non-EU countries to enter the country legally using this route, in order to compensate for the dwindling workforce.
