
The new centre will replace the old Findel building, which was constructed around 80 years ago, and constitutes an additional security stage for the airport and the surrounding neighbourhoods. Thanks to the barracks’ ‘urban side’ component, the teams at Findel may also be deployed in Findel’s neighbouring municipalities. This forms part of the National Emergency Organisation Plan, which requires rescue teams to be able to respond within 15 minutes from any location in the country.
This modern barracks replaces the old Findel building, whose construction dates back 80 years.
