As of 9pm on Wednesday and lasting until 6am on Thursday, the A6 motorway exits at the Strassen interchange will be closed to traffic. Motorists will instead have to follow detours via the Helfenterbruck and Bridel interchanges.
The roads and bridges authority also announced that the Strassen exit from Helfenterbruck would remain closed until the end of 2020. The detour for the prolonged roadworks will go via Bridel. Finally, the speed limit between Helfenterbruck and Bridel will be limited to 70 km/h.
