One incident occurred at around 5.30pm on Thursday when the police received a report about a driver on the A7 heading north, displaying erratic driving behaviour. Upon conducting a check, it was revealed that the driver was inebriated.

At around 1am, another driver was subjected to an alcohol test on Rue Erasme in Kirchberg, which also came back positive.

In Lorentzweiler, a patrol encountered a car parked in the middle of a roundabout shortly before 2am. As it turned out, the driver had fallen asleep behind the wheel. A subsequent breathalyser test revealed that the driver was intoxicated.

In all of these cases, the police confiscated the driving licences due to the high alcohol levels detected.
