The accident occurred at around 2pm on Monday afternoon. The Bettembourg ambulance attended the scene, accompanied by Hesperange fire fighters and first responders from the capital.
Shortly before 3pm, a bus crashed into a tree on the N22 between Boevange-sur-Attert and Bissen. Tentange and Boevange fire fighters assisted at the site of the collision, as well as the Nordstad ambulance.
Another person was injured after two cars collided in Fuussekaul.
At around 6pm, a third person suffered injuries in a collision between two vehicles on Rue Lohr, Mersch.
In Mondorf-les-Bains, two cars crashed into one another on Rue de Luxembourg shortly after 6pm, leaving one injured.
Finally, a car caught fire on the A13 towards Schengen at around 9.15pm, between Altwies and the Mondorf tunnel. The incident injured one person.
