The reopening of schools was accompanied by a series of strict measures and regulations, put in place in all establishments to ensure students can complete their schooling and obtain their diplomas.
In total, more than 96% of the expected number of students returned to their respective lycées on Monday.
The absence rate of less than 4% corresponds to average absence rates in a normal school period, without taking the health crisis into account.
The majority of the absent pupils are those who fall into the vulnerable category.
